Connecting a custom domain allows you to build trust with your audience, as instead of seeing a klipl.ink URL, they see a yourwebsite.com link. Connecting a custom domain to KlipLink is relatively easy and will take about 5 minutes.

Login

Login to the KlipLink dashboard and head to the ‘Custom Domains’ tab in the sidebar.

Enter domain details

Click ’+ Connect Domain’ at the top of the page and enter the domain you want to connect.
Please note that the domain is split into the subdomain and root domain. It is not possible to connect the root of your website to KlipLink. We recommend using ‘www’.

Add DNS records

Click ‘Next’ and then add the CNAME DNS record to your site. 
DNS Propogation can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days.

Confirm Domain

Click ‘Verify’ if your DNS records haven’t been detected automatically. Then, confirm that you wish to add the domain to your account by clicking ‘Finish’.
To create a link, page or QR code on a custom domain, use KlipLink as normal, but when creating a link, page or QR code select your intended domain from the ‘Domain’ dropdown,
